Look how cute and little this guy is! He popped up in front of me when I was walking to the park a couple mornings ago. This is a Butcherbird called a Loggerhead Shrike. They're called that because they use their little, sharp bills to slice open the bellies of insects, lizards and other birds. Yet, they're about 3 inches tall.
